Technoemotional art is a sophisticated style where the real revolution is not the use of machines, but the emotions it produces. The artifacts are at the service of emotion.
Term coined in 2006 by the journalist and gastronome Pau Arenós to describe a type of gastronomy that seeks, based on different technologies and concepts, to distill emotions and seek the intellectual pleasure of diners, who assume an active role in the act of eating.
On one hand the most important achievement is to create that emotion. But on the other hand, a complete artist, designer or architect needs control over the machines to understand their capabilities as well as their limits in order to break them. Therefore, technique and feelings must fit in as in a dovetail.
It is very common to be fascinated by a new modelling software or digital fabrication technique when we start learning about it. As much, as to forget about our background, our previous knowledge and skills, as if we would have never done anything before. It is very important to be updated on this world but remember that to be original you need to go back to the origin. Back to your origin, your colours, your feelings and then, understand why you are where you are. Only then you will be original.
