As part of the apartment renovation, a series of bespoke pine plywood elements were designed and fabricated to establish a coherent and harmonious interior environment. These interventions range from the dining table and kitchen countertop to integrated handles, wall-mounted pieces, and storage elements, all sharing a common material and constructive language.
The shelving system became the project’s central feature and can be understood as a spatial trace of human occupation. Rather than imposing a rigid geometry onto the room, its continuously adapting form negotiates between storage requirements, circulation, and daylight, allowing light and movement to flow through the space. The flexibility of its geometry maximizes the penetration of natural light into the depth of the apartment while simultaneously registering the volume occupied by the body, preserving the space of everyday movement and habitation.
This negotiation between measurable constraints and lived experience reflects the techno-emotional ethos of the project, where computational thinking, material efficiency, and digital fabrication techniques are placed at the service of comfort, perception, and domestic life. The resulting ensemble transcends the notion of furniture as a collection of isolated objects, instead forming an integrated spatial ecosystem in which architecture, function, and human experience become inseparable.
