The project takes shape from an unexpected visual connection: the layered grain of plywood recalls the muscular structure of salmon, transforming a constructive material into a narrative element deeply linked to Japanese cuisine.
A continuous wooden landscape flows through the restaurant, connecting its different spaces through organic geometries that evoke natural formations, movement and growth. Furniture, walls and architecture dissolve into a single language, generating an immersive spatial experience.
The project resonates with influences ranging from Gaudí’s organic universe and Dalí’s dreamlike transformations to the subtle aesthetics of Japanese culture, where shadows, imperfection and the beauty of time become design tools.
Behind this apparent fluidity lies a precise digital process. Parametric design and digital fabrication made it possible to translate complex geometries into physical reality, using technology not as an end, but as a vehicle for emotion.
